Chisom Adubasim

Chisom Adubasim is currently pursuing an M.S. in Political Analytics at Columbia University, building the research and storytelling skills needed to turn data into real-world impact. She is a public-service–driven professional who has spent the past several years working at the intersection of community, policy, and advocacy in Newark and beyond. 

With experience supporting legislative work in city government and assisting clients in a legal office setting, She is passionate about making complex systems feel more human, accessible, and fair. She grounded in nonprofit leadership and community-based service, She shows up with empathy, discretion, and a steady commitment to helping others navigate moments that matter. 

At the core of her work is a simple belief: people deserve to be seen, supported, and protected, especially when life feels uncertain. Her long-term goal is to become an attorney focused on social justice, carrying forward a career defined by compassion, responsibility, and service.
